Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Perry County Court Docket does not retain or create its own log of the terms entered in those search fields.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be kept long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Basic technical and usage details may be recorded when a visitor loads a page. That information can include:
- Page-view dates and times
- Visited pages and time spent on them
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Internet Protocol address
- A referring website, when one is supplied
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a device. They and analytics services may be used to measure traffic, identify popular pages, and see where visits end. A browser can reject or remove cookies, though blocking them may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Diagnose errors and other technical problems
- Keep pages available and improve loading speed
- Route a submitted query to the correct search provider
- Measure which content visitors use
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Perry County Court Docket does not maintain, compile, host, or sell a personal case-record database. It points readers toward the Perry County Circuit Clerk, Alabama courts, and the access systems that keep or publish those records. Court access is governed by applicable judicial rules and Alabama law, including the Alabama Rules of Court-Record Privacy and Confidentiality and Alabama Code section 36-12-40, subject to their limits and exceptions. Visitor data is not turned into a consumer report or outside profile, and Perry County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search boxes displayed on some pages. A partner's privacy policy, rather than this policy, controls information submitted through its tool. Each provider decides how long it retains data and when it shares data. Review those terms before entering a query because Perry County Court Docket does not direct those practices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Circuit Clerk, Alabama court portals, legal-aid resources, public case-search services, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Its terms should be read before any personal information is supplied.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select interest-based advertisements. Perry County Court Docket does not control that outside tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited data may nonetheless be handled by:
- Advertising networks that serve site advertisements
- Analytics vendors that measure use and performance
- Search providers that receive queries through their tools
- Government or law-enforcement authorities acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, generally accepted safeguards are used for information collected through the site. No internet service can promise complete security, however. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from a person younger than eighteen. If information from a minor is identified, a request may be made for its prompt removal.
Your Data Rights
Rights may arise under applicable Alabama consumer law, including the Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Alabama Code section 8-19-1 and following sections. Subject to the law and the information actually retained, a visitor may:
- Request access to personal information kept about that visitor
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Seek deletion of retained personal data
- Opt out of certain processing where the law permits
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. Any revision will be posted here and will carry a new effective date, so visitors may return to review the current terms.
Effective date: August 13, 2026
